Itinerary

06:00 – Meet up in Almaty (Abaya Street & Brusilovsky Street corner, upper parking lot of Sairan metro station)
06:30 – Depart for Kolsay with a stop at the Black Canyon viewpoint
10:30 – Arrive at Kolsay Lake, enjoy a walk, picnic (bring your own), and free time
13:30 – Depart for Saty Village
14:00 – Continue journey to Kaindy Lake
15:00 – Arrive at Kaindy, walk around and enjoy free time
17:00 – Depart from Saty Village
18:00 – Head back to Almaty
22:30 – Estimated arrival in Almaty

Important! The time is approximate and may change depending on the physical fitness and punctuality of the group, as well as in case of unforeseen circumstances.

We recommend taking something to eat with you on the road. There are cafes on the lakes where you can also eat. They accept payment only in cash.

Additional Notes

Kayinda Lake is an off-road. You will be transferred from the bus to the UAZ (included).
You need to walk from the parking lot for about 20-30 minutes, depending on the physical preparation. It is possible to rent a horse on site at your own expense.
Pregnant women are recommended to sit down with the permission of a doctor or in the absence of medical indications.
Identity verification – the original must be taken with you. There are 2 border posts waiting for you. There will be a thorough check!
- If there is no confirmation, they will be fined 5 MCI. And they can delay the whole bus.
- For children – a birth certificate
- For foreigners – a passport
